On Mar 30, the second-level customs-bonded warehouse invested by XIA Air Cargo Service Co started operation. It is another key project cooperated across the Taiwan Straits after XIACT. On Apr 25, Valuair opened its Xiamen-Singapore flight and AirAsia inaugurated the Xiamen-Bangkok route. On Oct 19, Xiamen Airport hailed Spring Airlines, the first LCC in mainland China to join the Xiamen-Shanghai route operation. Thus, a dynamic market with LCC, medium-fare airlines and traditional airlines operating at Xiamen Airport has emerged.
