| On Mar 30, the second-level customs-bonded warehouse invested by XIA Air Cargo Service Co started operation. It is another key project cooperated across the Taiwan Straits after XIACT. XIA Air Cargo Service Co is jointly invested by XIAGC and four Taiwan aviation companies such as TASCO, CAL, EVA and FEA.

| On Apr 25, Valuair opened its Xiamen-Singapore flight and AirAsia inaugurated the Xiamen-Bangkok route. On Oct 19, Xiamen Airport hailed Spring Airlines, the first LCC in mainland China to join the Xiamen-Shanghai route operation. Thus, a dynamic market with LCC, medium-fare airlines and traditional airlines operating at Xiamen Airport has emerged.
